Australian brands, Sheike and Billini have teamed up to bring a capsule collection to the Spring Racing Carnival.
The collaboration will offer race-goers a head-to-toe look, with five Billini shoe styles to pair with Sheike's racing pieces.
Billini product and creative manager, Nathalie King, said that the styles had to be paired back to complement the Sheike collection.
“With a focus on spring racing and working back the designs to work with the Sheike spring collection, a selection of block heels, mules, a pump and chic stiletto were chosen to cover all bases while remaining true to the feminine, flirty and fashion forward customer of both brands.
“Soft knot finishes and linen textures give an Italian-summer feel to this edit of lust-worthy styles, perfect for kicking off the warmer weather.”
Sheike senior designer, Diana Maguire, said that the range capitalises on popular current trends, providing women with a shoe for every spring racing event.
“We really wanted to give our customers the opportunity to shop the complete outfit. Offering her everything from head to toe. The range we designed perfectly complements the clothing and you have a selection of on-trend shoes for every occasion.
“The core natural linen heel is the must-have shoe in the range, with the fabrication giving it diversity to pair back to almost every look and every occasion.
“Colour is always a key focus for this time of year, especially in clothing and accessories so we focused on two colour pop’s – a fiery red and the sun-baked yellow, in a new season shape to take you through the day to night.
“The biggest emerging trend we saw was the perspex/vinyl in a statement heel which gives any outfit that more elevated feel. In a chic black it’s your anything-but basic go-to for the events ahead.”
The range is available from September 24 through both the Sheike and Billini websites and selected retail stores from $99.95-$109.95.
