Australian footwear brand, Alias Mae, will extend its partnership with e-commerce cause marketing platform, i=Change, for 24 hours on International Women's Day.
The footwear business will increase its donations from $1 to $5 for every purchase made on the website on March 8 - International Women's Day - in support of i=Change's Shop for Change initiative.
Alias Mae has been partnered with i=Change since mid 2018 and has so far raised close to $7000 for the initiative. From October to December last year, the amount raised totalled $3471, impacting the lives of over 2950 people.
Alias Mae founder, Tom Kirkhope, said that the business is excited to be able to involve its customers in a good cause.
"Alias Mae is passionate about empowering Australian women, so we're really proud and excited to be involved with i=Change.
"It’s a great chance for us to help make a difference, and we’re thrilled to be able to actively involve our customers in this fantastic initiative."
Donations made via Alias Mae go towards the charities Build a Woman's Future, Feed Aussies in Crisis and Support Syrian Refugees.
