R.M. Williams has expanded its retail footprint, opening a new store in the newly-renovated Karrinyup Shopping Centre in Perth.

The new store is the second to open under new owners Tattarang since acquisition in October 2020.

The new store in Western Australia has been designed to be a key destination for R.M. Williams and will showcase the design direction that was debuted in the Chadstone flagship in December 2020.

R.M. Williams director Nicola Forrest AO said that the brand is experiencing significant growth as customers turn to Aussie products.

"Now more than ever, we are seeing first-hand that Australians want to support Australian-made products.

"We are strengthening the foundations of this great company to expand on our high quality, Australian-made products.

"The trust our customers have in the brand is testament to the hard work and dedication of our world-class team of craftsmen and women," she said.

The Karrinyup store will celebrate R.M. Williams' heritage and legacy, with the design drawing inspiration from the brand’s Boot Room in the Adelaide workshop.

Sustainable design principles are featured throughout, including the use of recyclable, ethically sourced materials and energy efficient technologies that are used across lighting and digital.

This includes a large format LED screen to showcase brand origins and assets, reducing printed signage material turnover.

Additionally, customers can be fitted at one of two boot tables, where they will also be educated on the creation of each boot, which passes through 80 pairs of hands in the production process.

The R.M. Williams Karrinyup store opened on October 7.

The Karrinyup store takes R.M. Williams' store count to 62 across Australia.
