Footwear retailer Peter Sheppard has expanded into the men's footwear market, with the launch of its first men's collection online. 

The debut men's offering comprises a curation of premium sneakers, loafers and oxfords from Europe and is available from today, February 1. 

Peter Sheppard's expansion into men's footwear comes as Global Data reports the sector in Australia is growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.7% to reach a value of $2.4 billion by 2025. 

Peter Sheppard CEO Chris Sheppard said the expansion into men's is built on the strength of its women's business.

"The launch of our men's collection, founded upon the successes of our women's business, is something extraordinary.

"The collection encompasses niche footwear styles that simply cannot be found in a department store," he said. 

Seven key brands form part of the men's offering, chosen by Peter Sheppard buyers for their quality and comfort. 

The men’s collection includes standard, wide and extra-wide fitting shoes, as well as a range of orthotic-friendly styles.

For customers keen to get their hands on their new pair of shoes, Peter Sheppard offers a same day delivery service that allows customers to buy shoes and wear them the same day. 

The men's collection is available for pre-order now and retails for between $189.95 and $479.95.
