Department store Myer has addressed rumours its concession partner Nike is planning an exodus.
Media reports suggested the activewear giant could pull up to seven of its 10 Myer outlets.
This included flagship stores in Melbourne's Bourke Street mall and on George Street, Sydney.
Nike operates 45 stand-alone stores across Australia, helmed by local master franchisee Retail Prodigy Group.
A Myer spokesperson commented on the rumoured departure.
"We are in discussions with our Nike supplier about their range and offer at Myer stores, including ensuring we are placing their products where it is most popular and relevant to our customers."
