Online men's fashion destination, Mr Porter, has launched a footwear line under its house brand Mr P., alongside its latest apparel collection.
The footwear line is made up of both casual and formal styles that are inspired by the Mr P. motto of, “easy pieces, smart details and enduring style.”
This is the first foray into footwear for the brand and Mr Porter buying director, Fiona Firth, said that the brand is very pleased with the results.
“I am very excited to showcase Mr P.’s first ever footwear range.
“We have worked endlessly to source the best manufacturer to work with to master the shoes’ design and quality, and we are thrilled with the outcome.”
Eight Mr P. footwear styles make up the 'essential staples' line including loafers, Derby shoes and white leather sneakers.
Alongside this, seven seasonal shoe styles will launch for winter which will include lace-up boots, suede desert boots and shearling-lined walking boots.
Mr Porter style director, Olie Arnold, said that expanding into footwear represents a milestone for the brand.
“This September drop is Mr P.'s fifth collection and I am proud of how the brand has grown during this time.
“Introducing footwear is a significant moment for us and I am delighted to share the results: beautifully crafted shoes with the signature Mr P. aesthetic – meaning each pair fits perfectly with the mainline apparel.”

This line represents the first of many, with Arnold saying that the brand will introduce new styles five times a year.
"With Mr P., we’ll introduce new styles five times a year, based on seasonal trends and timely extensions of the category, and we’ll make sure each piece could fits effortlessly into the collection as it grows and grows.
"Anticipate more seasonal styles and developments of the core range, so that eventually we’ll have a fundamental base of shoes for every occasion and time of year."
The Mr P. footwear line dropped globally on September 5 and retails for between $338 - $784 before shipping.
