After signing on with A-League soccer team, the Western Sydney Wanderers (WSW), footwear retailer, JD Sports has scored exclusive rights to sell the third WSW kit.
JD sports will be the only official retail partner where consumers can purchase the new kit, with both WSW and JD Sports anticipating that it will be a best-seller.
JD Sports' logo is emblazoned on the front of the jersey and will also feature on the away kit.
Announcing the partnership in mid-October, JD Sports' head, Hilton Seskin, said that the WSW have been a great help in firming the JD Sports brand.
“From our entry into the marketplace, The Wanderers have been a fantastic support in helping to authenticate the JD brand, and we're excited to keep working with the club at an elevated level.
“We've established a significant footprint and customer base within Western Sydney, and the expanded Wanderers partnership reinforced our commitment to the local community.”
The newly unveiled third kit has been in the works for two years and features gold highlights on a black jersey.
