Hush Puppies has recently launched its brightly coloured spring/summer 18 campaign and range, Bounce, in Australia.
The collection is made up of three key styles – a sneaker, casual sandals and a heel – which all feature Hush Puppies' Bounce Technology.
This campaign ties into the 'brand refresh' Hush Puppies is going through this year, which according to Hush Puppies' marketing manager, Jamie Kouktzelas, has been in the works for three years.
“The brand is going through a fun turnaround and we are well on our way. We started working on this turnaround over three years ago.
“Over the last 12 months we are finally starting to see all our hard work pay off. We are having a heap of fun working on the brand in HPHQ and we are thrilled that our customers are starting to come on this journey with us.
Kouktzelas said that the campaign and new range is about showcasing how the Bounce technology can be incorporated into different shoe styles.
“Our key initiative for this brand is to put the fun, colour and our famous Basset Hound back into the brand.
“This campaign was about having fun and showing how one of our key technologies can be incorporated into all types of footwear for all types of people.
“We are a fun brand, for all ages and this campaign was about sharing that with the country.
“The inspiration for this campaign came from a range of factors from Iris Apfel’s eclectic looks to the range of bright colours in our spring/summer 18 collection.
“Strong and bright red, yellow and blues played a large role in our colour palette this season. Our customers don’t shy away from colour and we wanted our campaign to be just as strong as the shoes.
“We wanted to create something simple yet strong which embodies our brand ethos; inspire happiness from the shoes up.”
Kouktzelas said that the Bounce technology is proving to be a hit with consumers.
“This was the first season we launched this technology in our women’s range, [so] we kept the options spread across three key looks a trainer, a heel and a flat sandal.
“The success of this technology in the women’s range has exceeded our expectations so you can expect to see a lot more of it moving forward.

The materials used throughout the line include soft leather and canvas uppers, paired with padded socks and soft rubber outsoles.
The Bounce range will be available in Hush Puppies' retail stores, major department stores, selected specialty retailers and the Hush Puppies website for $99.95 to $149.95.
