R.M. Williams has opened its 77th store at Highpoint Shopping Centre in Melbourne.
The store pays homage to the brand's Australian heritage and history, while also welcoming in a new era through the use of sustainable materials in store.
The store features sustainable principles first debuted at the Chadstone site, including recyclable, ethically sourced materials, and the introduction of a large format LED screen to reduce printed material wastage.
"Bringing traditional outback landscapes into the retail experience, the store transports the consumer into the R.M. Williams world, with exposed copper ducting, blackened steel finishes and deep ochre recycled wood flooring that nods to the weathered earth of Australia’s red centre," R.M. Williams said in a statement.
"Other key features in the design refresh are the boot tables within, a tribute to the R.M. Williams Boot Room in the Adelaide workshop.
"A homage to our iconic boots, the boot tables invite consumers to sit and be expertly fitted, whilst being educated on the authentic craftsmanship features that are unique to R.M. Williams," the brand said.
To celebrate the store opening, the brand hosted boot shine and hand-plaiting demonstrations.
The R.M. Williams Highpoint store officially opened on November 18.
