Doctor Martens has introduced new textural styles to its offering.

The brand has introduced glitter, velvet and embroidery to its classic boots and shoes.

The embroidered collection, titled Vonda, features floral details on the upper of the three-eyed 1461 shoe, the 2976 Chelsea boot and the 1914 14-eyed boot.

A spokesperson for Doctor Martens said that the Vonda collection is designed to look like it has been hand-painted.

“The 1460 Vonda II takes our iconic eight-eye boot to a new level with a unique floral upper.

“The design has been taken from our popular Darcy print and recoloured, then placed on the side of the boot, giving a customised, hand-painted look and feel.”

The Velvet collection comes in three shades of velvet – dusty violet, cherry red and black – and is available in the 1460 original Doctor Martens boot.

The Glitter collection features seasonal colours and comes with standard laces, as well as satin ribbon laces, to change up the look of the boot.

The spokesperson said that the eight-eye boot has undergone a revamp.

“[We] have given the classic eight-eye boot a sparkling makeover with a glitter finish that twinkles, shines and catches the light.

“The boot comes in four seasonal shades: pewter, gold, purple and turquoise. Each boot comes with a pair of standard woven laces and with a pair of satin ribbon laces to make switching [the] look up easy.

“Each boot is, of course, finished with a tough and durable AirWair sole, yellow welt stitch and branded heel-loop.”

The new styles retail for between $199 to $299 and dropped online at the start of November.
