Zara will open its first store in Newcastle at Westfield Kotara tomorrow.
The store will become the 19th store of the brand in Australia.
It has a floor space of almost 2500sqm and will feature the latest spring/summer collection, designed exclusively for the Southern Hemisphere by a dedicated team.
These collections span womenswear, basics, TRF, kidswear and menswear.
The new store will be the first of its kind in Australia, showcasing the brand’s new global concept.
The centrepiece of the new store is a white surface spanning the ceiling and walls, giving merchandise an endless backdrop.
Zara is owned by the Inditex Group, one of the world’s largest fashion retail groups.
In addition to Zara, Inditex has seven other brands: Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and Uterqüe.
The Inditex Group has 7,422 stores in 96 markets, with online operations in 49 markets. It currently has 19 stores in Australia, where it also sells online through www.zara.com/au
