Australian womenswear label Willow has made a comeback after a series of ownership shakeups.
Founded by Kit Willow Podgornik in 2003, the label became renowned for its tailoring and structured jackets and boasted celebrity fans including Miranda Kerr and Jessica Gomes.
In 2011, The Apparel Group purchased a controlling stake in the business and announced the departure of Podgornik two years later.
The shakeup continued when it was placed for sale following a strategic review in 2016, however failed to secure a buyer and was closed.
Brand manager Nicola Michael confirmed the refreshed Willow brand is back under Unique Retailing.
"We recognise that there is a very much an appetite in the market for beautifully constructed and desired basics, with a focus on longevity and timelessness of the clothes," she said.
"We believe this collection is versatile and truly enhances your wardrobe.
"There is a constant play on contrasts; structure vs. fluid; raw vs. polished; elegant vs. edgy," she said.
The new collection is available on the Willow website now and will become available in select David Jones locations in the coming weeks.
It retails for between $100 and $850.
