APG&CO has taken decisive action and temporarily closed all stores in its portfolio.
The fashion group operates Saba, Sportscraft and JAG.
In a statement, CEO Peter Halkett said the move would protect staff and consumers.
"As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we know we must do our part to protect our employees, our loyal customers and the wider community.
"Today, we have decided to temporarily close all Sportscraft, Saba and JAG retail stores.
"This decision isn’t one we have taken lightly.
"We believe it is an important way to help to preserve the health and safety of our employees, loyal customers and
the greater community.
“Our brands have endured and overcome many difficult situations throughout their history.
"We look to the future with optimism and know their long heritage will continue.
"However, at this time we need to take this action for the wellbeing of our staff, customers and the wider community.
"We are very proud of the overwhelming support from our staff during this difficult time.”
The online stores will remain open and orders will continue to be dispatched within standard delivery times.
