Honey Birdette has appointed a new CEO.
The business' CFO Kim Kidd has taken over the role from founder Eloise Monaghan who has been in the position since 2006.
Kidd had worked in the CFO role for seven months before taking on the CEO position and prior to working at Honey Birdette had worked for high-end beauty retailer L’Occitane.
Monaghan said she was excited to see Kidd take over the role.
"Kim comes on board at a time of significant expansion.
"The appointment of a woman was very important to the brand and myself personally.
"She is extremely talented and passionate about the brand and we work very well together.
"I plan on moving back to the United States in July to continue our flagship expansion from five stores in California (current) to over fifteen locations in the next 18 months and including regions such as Texas, Florida, New York and Vancouver," she said.
Monaghan added that the business has learned a lot from COVID-19 and will continue to build on those learnings.
"We plan on being the most talked about lingerie brand in the world.
"Since COVID-19 we have also recognised the power of private appointments for our VIPs, and will open our first appointment based stores in LA and Sydney by July end," she said.
