VRG GRL is transitioning to an in-house design led business model, in a bid to ensure greater transparency over its supply chain.
Co-founders Daniella Dionyssiou and Natalia Suesskow said they want greater visibility from suppliers and are committed to reducing their contribution to pre and post consumer waste.
“So while customers will no longer see the weekly drops of hundreds of products on the VRG GRL site, we promise that by creating less and doing more; the package arriving at their doorstep will have greater value and the clothes will feel even better when put on," Dionyssiou said.
“We’re thrilled to be adding a whole new meaning to this, and transforming the value of the clothes we make so customers can feel good in every sense.
"While we’re a long way from perfect, we’re excited to be taking the first of many steps in our sustainability journey."
The move comes as the brand releases its first conscious collection, 'How She Moves', featuring eight silhouettes crafted primarily from Cupro and Viscose.
