Melbourne-based Vision Brands Group has acquired Australian kidswear brand Rock Your Baby.
Rock Your Baby was founded in 2003 by Caroline Nesbitt and Johanne Walsh at the Bondi Markets in Sydney, and now currently sells via online and through wholesale mostly via small boutiques across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and Asia, as well as via other online etailers, including The Iconic and Nordstroms.
Vision Brands Group co-founder Rheanna Griffin said the acquisition is a key milestone for the business as it continues to expand its portfolio, which currently includes other kidswear brands Kynd Baby, Fleur Harris, Seafolly Kids, Grow Kindly, Skwosh, Namelyco. and Claris the Mouse.
"We have deep admiration for Caroline and Johanne, the visionary founders of Rock Your Baby, and we are honoured to continue building on the incredible legacy they’ve created,” Griffin said. “Rock Your Baby has captured the hearts of families around the world, and we’re thrilled to work alongside the brand’s global network of retail and supply partners to strengthen its presence internationally.
“Adding Rock Your Baby to our portfolio feels like a natural step as we continue to grow and evolve. It’s a brand that embodies everything we believe in—high-quality fashion, bold designs, and delivering exceptional kidswear collections that inspire confidence and creativity.”
Co-founders Nesbitt and Walsh shared their confidence in the transition.
"After more than 20 wonderful years, we’re excited to pass the reins to Rheanna and her team, knowing they share our passion for the brand and its community. We can’t wait to see how they take Rock Your Baby to new heights."
The latest youth acquisition comes months after Munro Footwear Group bought up kids footwear retailer The Trybe from Accent Group in August this year.
