Viktoria and Woods has expanded its unisex offering, launching a unisex kids tee ahead of Father's Day.
The tee reflects the brand's commitment to sustainability and is made in Australia from GOTS Certified 100% organic cotton.
GOTS Certified (Global Organic Textiles Standard) organic cotton requires significantly less water to grow, reducing CO2 emissions by over 40%.
It is grown chemical-free and knitted into a soft jersey fabrication in Melbourne, Victoria.
Speaking on the brand's first foray into kidswear, Viktoria and Woods (V&W) founder and creative director Margie Woods said she was inspired to tap into the next generation of V&W customers thanks to her son.
"My 12-year-old son Harper always wears our unisex sweats and with so many friends and staff with young kids, it felt quite organic to cater to the next generation of our Woods community.
"Mindfully crafted with sustainability always at the forefront of our brand, the Woods kids tee is 100% organic cotton and made in our hometown, Melbourne.
"We are excited to share our considered philosophy and communicate these significant messages with the little loves of our V&W community.
"I love that my dear friend, photographer and V&W woman, Ivana Martyn-Zyznikow was able to capture her two beautiful children Vivian & Winston (coincidentally the same initials as V&W) whilst in lockdown," she said.
Woods added that the tee serves as a way for the brand to thank its community, large and small.
"In these times, it is our intention for the V&W unisex tee to be an extension of our gratitude, hope and source of inspiration for all of our valued Viktoria & Woods family," she said.
The V&W unisex kids tee sizing runs from six months to five years and is available for purchase at all V&W boutiques and online.
The kids t-shirt is available in black and white and retails for $60.
