Australian fashion label Venroy has taken over the Bondi Beach Post Office to launch an expanded retail space in East Sydney.
The new space is 160 square metres in size, doubling its former store around the corner on Gould Street - which was at 80 square metres.
The new flagship will house the brand’s entire range across men’s and women’s ready-to-wear fashion, alongside accessories and its new fragrance offerings.
Created in partnership with Sarah l’Anson Design Office, the store includes tactile plaster walls and limestone flooring, alongside locally sourced, custom-built cedar joinery.
Interior decor includes a Vittorio Introini bookshelf, a custom-brushed aluminium table by Brud Studia, roman ceramics and a Japanese Ikebana wall vase.
Venroy was initially launched in Bondi in 2010 and has since expanded to eight stores globally, with six across Australia’s east coast, one in New York and another in Italy.
“As Venroy travels around the world, with stores from Sydney, Melbourne and Byron to Capri and Montauk, it feels like the right moment to revisit and expand our presence in Bondi Beach, the place where it all began,” Venroy founder Sean Venturi said.
“The Venroy Bondi flagship is not only our biggest store to date, but also the most complete expression of our brand.
“It’s a celebration of everything we love at Venroy - holidays, travel, freedom, escapism - and we’re excited to open our doors as the Australian summer gets underway.”
