Van Heusen has a new mentor
Surfing legend Mick Fanning and AFL Sydney Swans captain Jarrad McVeigh have swapped sporting threads for suits.
The pair have joined Entourage founder Jack Delosa and fashion influencer Jimmy Niggles in a new “Mentors” campaign for menswear brand Van Heusen.
Each man will showcase the latest looks from Van Heusen's spring/summer collection, in addition to providing style and life advice.
The content-driven campaign will see different mentors used throughout the season across all touchpoints, with a predominantly digital buy supported by outdoor and print.
Additional mentors include pioneering bionic fusion surgeon Dr Munjed Al Muderis, Melbourne Victory football team head coach Kevin Muscat, artist Mitch Revs and award winning chef Ryan Squires.
Bondi Hardware and The Botanist founders Hamish Watts and Ben Carroll have also been enlisted.
Van Heusen marketing manager Janine Buckman said each mentor will be used for special events and live online chat forums.
“In the past, we have worked with traditional creative agencies; however, we adopted a different and disruptive approach for this campaign as digital is incredibly influential in our customer’s world."
The mentors campaign will see traditional product portrayed alongside a new business casualwear range.
