Uniqlo has built on its in-store alterations service, launching the same service for customers online.
Before checking out, Australian customers can now alter their Uniqlo pants and jeans products to meet their specific sizing needs, helping to reduce returns and fashion waste.
Additionally, customers who may have missed the launch of the alterations service online can bring their unworn Uniqlo pants and proof of purchase in-store to have them altered.
Speaking on the service, Uniqlo said the launch of the digital alterations is based on customer demand.
"The consumers have spoken and Uniqlo has listened.
"Gone are the days you’ve been left frustrated after waiting patiently for the arrival of your new online pants purchase, only to be let down when the bottoms of your new jeans brush the ground as you walk.
"With Uniqlo’s revamped online alterations service, finding the perfect pair of pants online has never been so simple," the business said.
Customers will be able to access the online alterations for free when choosing a lock stitch on items over $29.90 or $6.00 for blind stich.
