Global sportswear brand Under Armour is set to open its seventh UA Brand House store in Australia at Melbourne Central on November 17, also marking its third store in Victoria.

The 277 sqm Melbourne store will be the brand’s new Melbourne Flagship store, housing its staple collections and latest innovations across men’s and women’s apparel, footwear and accessories.

Under Armour collaborated with local artist Rory Lynch-Wells to create a series of murals at the Melbourne Central Brand House inspired by local and global athletes that reflect the brands’ ethos.

“The opening of our flagship store in Melbourne Central is a major step forward in Under Armour’s strategic multi-channel expansion,” Under Armour ANZ MD Fernando Reani said. “The brand is enjoying excellent momentum in the country; signaling a strong appetite and desire for technological and innovative sports performance solutions amongst our customers.”

Under Armour will mark the new opening with a launch event and offers planned for opening night on November 17.

The launch event will be hosted by sports broadcaster Peter Hooley who will lead a series of Q&A’s with Under Armour athletes and VIPs. The first 50 customers to enter the flagship will receive $100 to spend in store on the night.

UA will also give customers a chance to win signed items by UA athlete Chloe Logarzo, special edition Curry Brand basketballs, and JBL x Project Rock Headphones.

The grand opening of its Melbourne Central store will coincide with the launch of UA’s new Curry Flow 10 basketball shoe, which includes its “Sour Then Sweet colourway, building on the Sour Patch kids collection first debuted with the Curry 7.
