Australian bootwear manufacturer Ugg Express has signed a shoe partnership with Gary Bigeni for Afterpay Australian Fashion Week (AAFW).
Ugg Express will provide its footwear for the showing of Gary Bigeni’s SS23 collection at its AAFW runway on May 16, 2023 in Sydney.
“As an Australian company, we are big supporters of other home-grown designers and fashion, and the opportunity to partner with such an incredible designer like Gary Bigeni is truly exciting,” Ugg Express marketing manager Laura Li said.
“We believe the ethos of Gary Bigeni to create pieces that are designed to last as well as being gender-neutral perfectly aligns to the aspirations of Ugg Express’ focus on creating high-quality and unisex shoes for all walks of life.”
Bigeni, who is known for custom made-to-order designs, said finding a shoe partner that fits their vision can be difficult.
“But Ugg Express’ wide range of shoes that fits for so many occasions, made them the perfect choice,” Bigeni said. “I’m so excited to showcase the collection and how the shoes complement my creations.”
Gary Bigeni’s show at AAFW takes place at 7pm at Carriageworks in Redfern, Sydney on May 16.
