Australian childrenswear brand Tutu du Monde has launched its first-ever flagship store at Westfield Bondi Junction.

The new store will stock the brand’s core collections, including tutus across various colourways, as well as dresses and accessories.

Founder and creative director Andrea Rembeck said this marks a pivotal moment for Tutu du Monde, adding to its growing digital presence and department store inclusions globally including Harrods, Neiman Markus and David Jones.

“Our flagship store embodies the essence of Tutu du Monde - a world where imagination, creativity, and beauty intertwine," Rembeck said. "We invite everyone to join us in this celebration and experience the wonderment of Tutu du Monde firsthand."

Rembeck said Tutu du Monde’s product line-up has expanded from its core tutu ranges since launching in 2009. The brand is now preparing to launch its first ready-to-wear collections in 2024, with styles including bouclé coats, jackets, and guipure lace dresses.

“Since Tutu du Monde's inception more than 10 years ago, the brand has consistently grown from its Sydney origins to its current global distribution across ANZ, North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East,” Rembeck said. “In recent years, we have collaborated globally with renowned brands such as Disney, Barbie and Universal to jointly design and market our whimsical creations.”

Tutu du Monde adds to several other retailers opening in Westfield Bondi Junction this year, including Hoka, New Balance, Arc'teryx, LSKD and Kivari.
