Former Tigerlily CEO Travis Wright has been appointed to a new role in a new industry at Australian digital firm Ecommerce Equation as the new chief product officer.

Wright's new position is newly created amid expected global growth in the online trading space to $2.7 trillion by 2026.

She was the CEO of Tigerlily for three years and left the brand recently after it was acquired by Seafolly. Prior to Tigerlily, Wright founded her own travel brand Travel by Travis and worked her way up to general manager of womenswear brand Esther & Co via digital-lead roles.

Ecommerce Equation was founded in 2020 and teaches eCommerce operators to inhouse marketing functions. In February this year, the company entered into a strategic partnership with Glow Capital Partners, an Australian private equity fund.

In her new role, Wright will oversee core functions for EE customers, including continuing to develop proprietary curriculum and managing coaching experts.

Travis Wright added she is eager to start this new role.
