Witchery MD Simon Schofield has revealed to Ragtrader how the business is managing the impact of its flood-affected store in Queensland.
Schofield said that the brand's Toombul store was directly impacted by the disaster, being inundated with flood waters.
The store is now temporarily closed, and team members have been redeployed to neighbouring stores while the business assesses the damage.
Schofield said that above all, the business' priority was the safety of its team.
"The safety of that team has of course been our number one priority and we're thankful that very few team members have been directly affected," he explained.
"We've closed stores and reduced trading hours as we needed to, to make sure that our team members were safe and stayed out so that they could avoid those flood waters.
"We're very lucky that it was only one store really affected," he said.
