One of Australia’s largest retailers is about to open 150 stores in 120 days.
Cotton On Group is set to break its own store opening record in the lead up to Christmas.
It is part of a broader target to add 570 new stores to its portfolio over the next three years.
To support this aggressive growth strategy, the Group has embarked on a campaign to attract the world’s best talent in the lead up to peak Christmas trade.
Cotton On Group CEO Peter Johnson said it is on the hunt to fill 300 retail management roles, with a particular focus on NSW.
"Between now and 25 December, we’ll be opening 153 stores globally, which equates to more than one new store per day.
"It’s a really exciting time for the Group, but critical to our success is ensuring we have the best team in place to support the expansion."
Currently, the Group has approximately 20,000 team members across 17 countries, in roles such as retail, logistics, e-commerce, marketing, buying, production, innovation, trend forecasting, health and careers.
In Australia, the Group will be focusing on New South Wales.

The Group has a number of initiatives in place to support career progression.
This includes its $30 million learning and development platform, COG Uni, access to health and wellbeing programs and product discounts.
The Group is also developing a secondment program to offer senior retail team members a chance to work in locations such as the USA, South Africa, Asia and Brazil.
The Group is holding a series of Talent Pool Parties, being kicked off in NSW in September.
