Fashion platform The Iconic has launched a physical space at Martin Place in Sydney where customers can essentially click & collect new items.
The in-store extension will be located within the new Martin Place Metro Station, and is in partnership between Hubbed and CouriersPlease.
Customers will be able to collect their order, try it on in an in-store changeroom and return if required, all on the spot.
Additionally, customers will be able to drop off RCYCL and Rewear satchels containing clothing for recycling or for donation to Salvos Stores, available through The Iconic’s RCYCL partnership, launched onsite earlier this month.
“We are thrilled to partner with Hubbed on this innovative venture,” The Iconic COO Rostin Javadi said. “Offering our customers click & collect convenience is paramount to creating a better way to shop.
“We can’t wait to see how customers respond to the ‘try-on’ element with the launch of this concept store. It is an exciting development in The Iconic’s commitment to a seamless shopping experience.”
Upon purchase, customers can select “Pick-Up” at the delivery menu on The Iconic’s website and select Hubbed Martin Place Metro. Orders will be shipped and made available for collection during opening hours between 7:30am - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
"The opening of our concept store at Martin Place Metro Station marks a significant milestone in our mission to redefine the retail and logistics landscape,” Hubbed CEO David McLean said. “Our collaboration with The Iconic and CouriersPlease allows us to offer a truly exceptional service that caters to the evolving needs of modern consumers."
To mark the opening, The Iconic will be hosting two weeks of activations at the new store from Monday, November 5 to Friday, November 15. This includes a Shark Beauty pop-up salon and an initiative for National Recycling Week where the first 50 customers who collect their order at the Martin Place location will receive a complimentary RCYCL satchel.
A curated selection of The Iconic’s ‘Considered’ range will also be on display.
