Fashion and lifestyle platform The Iconic has announced the return of its $1 digital treasure hunt after a successful debut last year.
For this week only, The Iconic will hide 25 high-end products – all collectively valued at $12,000 – across its app and website. The first customer to find the item, add it to their basket, and check out will successfully purchase it for just $1.
First launching in 2024 as an extension of The Iconic’s ‘Got You Looking’ masterbrand campaign, the treasure hunt scored an impressive 250 million product impressions – an average of 49 million daily – marking a 10 per cent increase in the site's daily average impressions.
This year the treasure hunt returns following the successful launch of the next iteration of the ‘Got You Looking’ campaign, developed in collaboration with Dentsu Creative and Love Media.
As part of the hunt, a cryptic clue will be released via the app between 10:00am and 11:00am AEST to help guide customers in finding the five items available that day. Each will be hidden behind distinct, bold imagery.
Items hidden and available to snap up for $1 will include designer fashion and accessories from Cendre, Saint Laurent and Cos; sporting essentials from Adidas and The North Face; beauty goods from Make Up For Ever, Benefit, Lancôme, Prada and GHD; as well as homewares from Georg Jenson and Samsonite.
There will even be a pre-loved designer handbag from Azura Reborn, a TheraFace facial mask and a Cuisinart Air Fryer.
The treasure hunt commenced yesterday on Monday, April 7, and will wrap up on Friday, April 11.
