The Iconic has revealed it will invest $100 million over the next five years to improve logistics and add to the capacity of its fulfilment centre as part of a move to revolutionise its delivery systems.

The reveal coincided with the brand's announcement of a trial of one hour deliveries as part of the MBFWA event.

The trial will allow attendees at the event to shop from a 'Designer Edit' from the brand website and have their item delivered to The Iconic's concierge hub at Carriageworks within one hour for free.

The brand has also stated that it wants to use the experience gained from trialling its one hour delivery to benchmark future delivery services.

The Iconic CEO Patrick Schmidt said the brand was looking to meet a consumer need for faster delivery with their investment into logistics.

“Faster delivery is something we know our customers want and we're determined to enable it. At The Iconic, we work hard to continuously build the shopping experience of the future.

“Pushing the boundaries with a one hour delivery service that could soon become a reality is just one of the ways we're testing how to make our customers lives easier.

“Ensuring our customers have the latest and most convenient shopping innovations at their fingertips is a huge focus for us, so we can't wait to see how the trial goes.”
