Australia and New Zealand fashion platform The Iconic has expanded its delivery options with the integration of Australia Post parcel lockers and post offices at check-out.

Previously, customers were able to manually input parcel lockers at check-out, but a new addition to The Iconic’s app allows customers to view and select from around 800 lockers around Australia. 

According to The Iconic, this delivery option will be particularly beneficial for customers who live in apartments or residences where deliveries cannot be left unattended. 

Additionally, customers can choose to have their orders delivered to any participating Australia Post post office. 

“The integration of these new choices provides our customers with greater flexibility and convenience, ensuring a seamless check-out and delivery experience that aligns perfectly with their busy lifestyles,” The Iconic COO Rostin Javadi said. 

The new delivery option is currently only available on The Iconic’s app, and is set to be launched on its website from October 2024.

After an order is made, customers will receive a notification when their parcel arrives at their chosen collection point. They can collect it anytime within the next 10 business days. 

In the case of parcels addressed to lockers, after 48 hours, the parcel will move to the nearest Australia Post post office for collection. 

“By giving shoppers a choice over how and where they receive their deliveries, we're demonstrating our commitment to evolving with their needs and continuously improving their experience,” Australia Post executive GM of parcel, post and e-commerce services Gary Starr said.
