A few years ago, being sustainable in fashion was more or less a nice way to appease stakeholders. But now, it's verging on mandatory.

From January 2025, the nation's biggest businesses will need to share their green credentials - from Scope 3 emissions to environmental impacts - and this will eventually be phased down to the smaller businesses by 2027.

And while many businesses have a long way to go, especially in fashion according to former Kmart sustainability lead Rick Lambell, many more are showing the rest how it's done.
