The 2019 Click Frenzy 'Mayhem' saw visitor numbers increase by 46%, according to new data released by Hitwise.
The flash sale has cemented itself in the Australian retail calendar, with 1.1 million visitors flocking to the site on May 21 and 22.
Power Retail CEO – Click Frenzy's parent company – Grant Arnott said that 2019 May event was the biggest ever.
"Click Frenzy Mayhem was our biggest May event ever, thanks to the fantastic range of amazing retail brands and killer deals.
"We welcomed many new brands such as Ikea, Bose, Mimco plus our established favourites including Myer, David Jones, Sony and Peter Alexander, offering exceptional deals for Aussie shoppers.
"With great partners like Shopback and Afterpay adding extra value for shoppers, the appetite for events like Click Frenzy continues to grow exponentially. It’s a positive boost for shoppers and retailers during a relatively quiet period," he said.
According to the Hitwise stats, Click Frenzy saw 235,000 unique visitors come to the site, an increase of 43% compared to 2018.
