Taking Shape and First Nations artist Elverina Johnson have announced their second collaboration, featuring a limited-edition collection showcasing Elverina’s original print design based on “Ngawayu Buluru,” or Turtle and Reef Story.

The range features casual pieces designed to be incorporated into daily wardrobes, including a reversible denim jacket and jogger, bomber jacket, pintuck tunic, sweat top, bamboo legging, a signature tee and sneakers.

The collection also features a swimwear range, including a kimono, rash vest, swimsuit, tankini, and swim shorts.

Taking Shape buying and design manager Michelle Bradbrook said the brand is proud to partner with Johnson on another venture.

"Together we have collaborated on the beautiful Ngawayu Buluru, or Turtle Story to showcase a casual daywear range of swimwear, and beautiful bold mix and match pieces and accessories."

The limited-edition collection is available at Taking Shape stores and online with prices from $49.95 to $179.95. Taking Shape will also be running instore events to launch the collection.

Johnson will be joining the events in Myer Melbourne, Myer Sydney and Myer Cairns.

Taking Shape head of brand and marketing Emily Spicer-Stuart said the design team will also join the tour.

“We are really excited to bring the Elverina Johnson collaboration to life with a series of instore events, Elverina herself, along with our Taking Shape Design team will attend these across Australia.

"This is a fabulous way for our wonderful customers to experience the collection first hand and meet the creative team behind the artwork and designs. These were hugely popular last year, and we can’t wait to welcome our customers back instore to experience the new pieces first hand."
