Brisbane City Council’s Revive Second-hand Fashion Festival is set to return in August, as demand for circular fashion grows.
Staged on August 17, the one-day community event at the Cultural Forecourt of South Bank Parklands will feature local charities, retailers, students, crafters and second-hand clothes vendors.
On-site stylists will also offer a fashion-focused program of activities, such as markets, runway shows and styling sessions with live entertainment and food trucks.
Festival highlights include:
• Social media influencers Hannah Klose from Never Ever Pay Retail and Faye de Lanty (pictured) who will be sharing their secrets to successful thrifting
• Dozens of second-hand clothing and charity vendors
• Live music and runway shows
In the lead-up to National Op Shop Week, the festival will feature even more second-hand retailers and runway shows.
