Fashion retailer Sussan has partnered with Upparel to upcycle textiles.

Launching this week in Sussan stores nationwide and online, the retailer is giving customers a service to recycle pre-loved garments through a three-step process.

Customers can book a clothing collection, package up the unwanted textiles and have Upparel collect the boxes to be upcycled.

For the month of June, Sussan will reward customers who purchase a clothing collection with a $25 voucher to spend in store or online.

Last year, Decjuba partnered with Upparel on a program to upcycle customer garments through in-store returns or online.

The 'add-to-cart' solution allowed customers to add a prepaid post satchel to any online order, placing their old denim into the satchel and post it for recycling.

The initiative saw 2,241 satchels ordered via the online add-to-cart model.

Decjuba owner and CEO Tania Austin said the brand was committed to a more sustainable journey.

"Ensuring that we continue to have a positive impact on our planet is the driving force behind the decisions we make along each step of our sustainability journey as a business," she said.
