Spotlight will reopen its doors to the Lismore community on December 15, after the community was impacted by floods in February this year.
Spotlight regional manager Matt Brown said the store will also see the return of its existing team, as well as welcoming back the local Lismore community.
“Lismore locals, along with our store staff, have had to endure a lot this year,” Brown said. “We were lucky to be in the position to keep all existing team members on at our Spotlight Ballina store.”
Spotlight also hired an additional 15 team members to manage the new, large format store.
The grand reopening will take place on Thursday, December 15, featuring speeches and a ribbon cutting from 7:45am, with the store opening at 8:00am.
The day will include free pillows for the first 100 customers, a magician and roaming musicians, balloon artists and beverages provided by local Sassy Bean Cafe.
