Spotlight is set to open its newly renovated store to the local Narre Warren community in south-east Melbourne, as it drives local and international expansion.
The site will open at the Home Centre in Fountain Gate on August 18.
The fabric, craft and home store will welcome back customers with a matinee of free entertainment and giveaways, with Spotlight’s longest-standing employee expected to cut the ribbon to officially open the store.
The updated design will feature a significant extension to the layout across all departments, including home décor, kitchen, dining, and storage, as well as a new party department, stocked with costumes and accessories.
There will also be a designated display of notable sewing machine brands, a craft room for classes and live demonstrations, to enhance the shopping experience.
“We are delighted to continue to serve this community with all the supplies they need to make their lives exciting and creative,” Spotlight CEO Quentin Gracanin said.
“We look forward to continuing on this trajectory across Australia, steadfast in our mission to open more stores domestically and internationally.”
