Sportscraft has been selected as the Official Uniform Supplier of the 2020 Australian Olympic Team.
Designing both the Opening Ceremony and Formal Uniforms, this will be the eighth time Sportscraft has provided apparel for Australia’s athletes.
The uniforms are expected to be revealed in early 2020 and worn by the Australian Olympic Team for the first time at the Opening Ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games on July 24.
Ian Chesterman, Chef de Mission for the 2020 Australian Olympic Team said the uniform for Tokyo is the result of an collaborative process.
“We have really enjoyed working with Sportscraft. They have involved athletes and that’s been vital.
“The 2016 Team to Rio loved that uniform and I believe the Team for Tokyo will be equally happy.
“The fact that a group of athletes had input into things most important to them, makes all the difference.
“You are balancing smart design with the practical needs of the people wearing the uniform.”
APG&CO chairman Peter Halkett said he was pleased in with Sportscraft’s continued role as the Official Uniform Supplier of the 2020 Australian Olympic Team.
