Australian womenswear label Thurley has announced international expansion launching its Resort 16 collection in four global markets.
Thurley is backed by Solomon Lew's Voyager Distributing Co.
Thurley designer and founder Helen O'Connor said that making a move into wholesale has been a strategic decision driven by consumer demand particularly on its social media platforms such as Instagram.
'Aegean Dreaming' will land in Europe, the UK, the Middle East, USA and Asia in November in major stockists including Saks 5th Avenue, Harvey Nichols, Shopbop, Moda Operandi, Revolve and BHLDN.
“It has surprised and thrilled me to see my designs embraced by both local and international buyers.
"I feel like all the lessons I have learnt over the last decade have really taught me to understand my customer and develop my unique handwriting and it’s a real privilege to see the appreciation from the buyers who are showcasing my work in their beautiful stores.”
Thurley currently operates a flagship store in Armadale, Melbourne, an ecommerce business and is stocked in David Jones.
