Former managing director for Witchery and Trenery, Simon Schofield, has been appointed as CEO of Cue Clothing Co.
Schofield confirmed the news with Ragtrader, saying he will commence his new role from January 30.
As CEO, Schofield will oversee the operations of both Cue and Veronika Maine brands.
“I am very excited to be joining such a tenured and passionate team and to take on the stewardship of two fantastic brands,” he said.
“Almost every woman I speak to has a Cue story and I feel very privileged to be part of the next chapter of this iconic Australian label.”
The move comes seven months after Schofield exited Country Road Group (CRG) following 13 years of service, with eight years as managing director between Witchery and Trenery.
He left alongside Sarah Rovis, who was the managing director of Mimco and had held the role for seven years.
Cue Clothing Co has 79 Cue locations across Australia and New Zealand, including at Myer and David Jones, as well as 75 locations for Veronika Maine. Both brands are also sold on The Iconic, as well as through owned online platforms.
