The Ordre Groups (TOG) has announced a suite of new technology solutions, including a world-first authentication app that has caught the interest of Richemont and LVMH Group.

Ordre first launched as a business-to-business online wholesale marketplace for luxury designers, headed up by Australian Fashion Week founder Simon Lock.

TOG believes its latest release, the Authentique app, will revolutionise the purchase of luxury brands through a new form of digital verification.

The Authentique App uses visual recognition technology instead of the usual RFID or tags to register an item.

The imagery is registered in the app, which then creates a digital fingerprint of the product and a NFT.

Ownership of the NFT is transferred to the consumer during the point-of-purchase of the luxury item.

The company has reported that discussions around the app are taking place with industry conglomerates Richemont, Kering and LVMH Group.

It comes as TOG scales its virtual showroom operations through its solution Ordre Meta, a partnership with Joor.

Launched in late 2021 with brands Lanvin and The Row, it allows brands to create B2B customisable virtual showrooms for luxury clientele.

The venture aims to minimise the cost and time of physical showrooms.

It sits in the TOG portfolio alongside ORB360°, imaging technology which provides a 360° view of models as well as options for video, ghost and other imagery.
