Australian fashion house Shona Joy has just opened a new physical retail space inside the Dubai Mall in the United Arab Emirates.

It is the brand’s first physical expansion in over a decade.

The new luxury retail space is in partnership with global department store retailer Bloomingdales, and takes inspiration from its latest Villeggiare collection.

The space features the brand’s hand-drawn logo design with organic textures throughout, and houses its ready-to-wear collections and its eventwear collection La Lune.

“Our greatest passion has always come from seeing our collections come to life and the stories that we can tell through our designs,” Shona Joy COO Danielle Millar said. “We are so proud to be able to welcome our Dubai customers into our world and to be able to share our vision.”

Millar said Bloomingdales has been a long-standing partner and supporter of the brand, and said it’s Middle Eastern consumer base is growing.

“We have a strong connection to our customers in Dubai - with the location offering the perfect backdrop for our eternal Summer mentality, this space felt like a perfect fit.

“We are focused on our relationship with our customers, with a strong direct-to-consumer business through our digital flagship.

“We have always taken an organic approach to growth, choosing to keep our retail footprint small by partnering with select premium retailers across the globe, including Bloomingdales.”
