Luggage brand Samsonite will open a new flagship store at T1 Sydney International Airport on December 5 this week.
The dual-fronted store will stock Samsonite’s full range of travel products - including luggage, bags and accessories, as well as personalisation opportunities on select products.
According to Samsonite, the new opening is a key part of its broader, multi-year strategy to elevate the brand experience at key retail touchpoints. This includes improving customer journeys through store design and engaging, interactive retail environments.
The new opening adds to a recent retail expansion across Australia, including the implementation of Samsonite shop-in-shop concepts in major department stores. Flagship locations include Myer Bourke Street, David Jones Bourke Street, and David Jones Chadstone in Melbourne.
"Samsonite is committed to elevating its brand in the retail sector over the coming years, starting with the exciting launch of our dual-fronted store at T1 Sydney International Airport,” Samsonite Australia vice president Ari Priester said.
“This initiative is complemented by the expansion of our presence through newly designed Samsonite shop-in-shop concepts in key department stores and enhanced visual merchandise with our valued retail partners.
“Our focus remains on elevating the Samsonite brand and enhancing in-store retail experience at airports and with our valued retailer partners across the country."
