New Zealand fashion brand Rodd & Gunn has opened a new flagship store in Sydney’s Martin Place.
The new store is housed in a heritage retail space that spans approximately 150 square metres, and features existing architectural elements alongside new furnishings, artwork, and fixtures.
Rodd & Gunn’s new location comes as the brand prepares to open another store in Melbourne along Little Collins Street in November this year.
The brand now operates around 100 stores across Australia, which includes spaces in Myer and David Jones as well as outlets, with around 28 locations in New Zealand.
“We’re delighted to announce the launch of our Sydney flagship at such an iconic shopping destination,” Rodd & Gunn CEO Mike Beagley said. “The heritage building and Victorian architecture is truly a sight to behold.”
The opening of the store comes as the menswear label launches its winter drop, Beyond the Horizon, which will be showcased at the new flagship.
The range includes Italian denim, leather jackets, tailored coats and cotton-spun sweaters, with colourways including browns, yellows and greens.
The collection also includes pieces made from ZQRX merino wool, which is fully traceable back to the grower.
Rodd & Gunn was originally founded in 1946, with its current form launching in 1987 with its first standalone store. As well as locations in Australia and New Zealand, the brand is also sold through retail concepts in Canada, United Kingdom, France, and across the United States.
