Rip Curl has partnered with Tourism Western Australia for the brand’s sixth ‘Summer Looks Good On You’ campaign.
The global campaign will feature WA-based locations including Esperance/Kepa Kurl and the Margaret River Region and Perth/Boorloo.
Tourism WA managing director Carolyn Turnbull said the partnership is key to promoting Western Australia’s profile locally and internationally.
“This incredible campaign beautifully showcases WA’s wondrous beaches to a global audience, inspiring interstate and international travellers to venture to Australia’s west and explore our remarkable state,” Turnbull said.
“The uniqueness of our Dream State is highlighted in these images and videos, putting WA on the map for millions of people as an ideal holiday destination.”
In addition to creative, Tourism WA is supporting Rip Curl’s second Virtual Pro competition taking place in February 2024, offering a Margaret River surf trip travel package to the winner.
“Western Australia aligned naturally as the place to connect and build further conversations with our female surfing audience,” Rip Curl head of brand and marketing James Taylor said.
“No matter who you are, no matter where you are, summer is for everyone and summer looks good on you. With this core message in mind, creating content in Western Australia was the perfect match.”
