PAS Group brand Review has announced a new long-term partnership with the Salvation Army, to support those impacted by family and domestic violence.

The partnership launches with the Review4Women campaign, which aims to raise awareness and funds for The Salvation Army’s work with survivors of family and domestic violence.

The Review4Women campaign encourages Review customers to donate their pre-loved Review items through any of its stores nationally, including its Myer locations.

In return for donating their Review pieces, customers will receive a $10 voucher.

Meanwhile, Review will contribute a further $10 monetary donation for every clothing donation to The Salvation Army to help support survivors of domestic violence.

Once all the clothing is collected, Review will donate the pieces to the Salvos to be sold through its network of stores, helping it to raise additional funds.

Review GM Clare Hurley said the business is proud to partner with the Salvation Army on this important campaign.

"Through our donation program we hope we can make a real difference together with our community.

"This issue is very close to our hearts, and we encourage everyone to get involved and support the vital work of The Salvation Army," she said.

According to the Australian Institute for Health and Welfare, one in four women in Australia has experienced physical or sexual violence by a current or previous cohabiting partner.

Tragically every eleven days, an Australian woman loses her life at the hands of her current or former partner.

The Salvation Army's domestic violence services and programs address both the immediate and long-term needs of those experiencing domestic violence through helping to secure accommodation, financial assistance and community support.

The Salvation Army's Major Robyn Black said the organisation is committed to supporting survivors of family and domestic violence.

"We are proud to be partnering with Review Australia on this campaign, which will shine a light on the issue of domestic violence and the work The Salvation Army do to support and alleviate this.

"The campaign helps to raise awareness and the vital funds to ensure we can continue to support individuals and families in need," she said.

The campaign runs until Easter 2022.
