Established Australian activewear label Rockwear is on a mission to open five stores in Perth within a two-month period.
During the pandemic lockdowns, the brand witnessed a surge in demand from WA consumers, making the decision to embark on a mass-store opening strategy.
The five stores across Ocean Keys, Morely, Carousel, Whitford and Innaloo began opening on March 25, with the next to launch tomorrow, April 1 and the final store to open on May 6.
In addition to the WA launch, Rockwear will expanding nationally throughout the remainder of the year with new stores popping up across NSW, SA, and Victoria over the next couple of months.
Rockwear was founded in 1991 and established itself along Australia's east coast, with the five new WA stores the brand's first foray into the west coast.
"Rockwear is for those who enjoy vigorous workouts, yoga, barre, walking, brunching and everything in between," the brand said in a statement.
"We have always been an inclusive brand, catering from size six to 18 encouraging women to live an active life on their own terms and feel their very best.
"We go way beyond a trend and have continued to remain relevant and innovative for 30 years," Rockwear said.
Rockwear is a subsidiary of Retail Apparel Group.
