Rebel will today open its largest Victorian store at Highpoint Shopping Centre.
Following a major expansion and redesign, the new Rebel Customer Experience store now spans 2,500sqm and features the latest sporting apparel and equipment, new sports technology and interactive zones with integrated virtual gaming.
Experience highlights in the store include an interactive basketball court adorned with street art murals of Australian basketball stars Patty Mills and Lauren Jackson, as well as an immersive football experience complete with an interactive projector screen and turfed wall.
Rebel state retail manager (VIC, TAS and SA) Phil Grillo said the business is excited to open the new store.
"We are thrilled to open our third concept store of this kind in Victoria, and eight nationally.
"We hope it inspires customers to chase their sporting dreams and passion, which is at the core of what we do at Rebel," he said.
To celebrate the store opening, Rebel will offer customers a range of interactive experiences, meet-and-greet opportunities and special discounts and offers from today (March 10) to Saturday March 12.
Across the celebration days, customers will have the chance to meet their favourite AFL stars including Dane Swan, Adam Cooney, Monique Conti, Libby Birch, Josh Gibson and Bachar Houli, as well as AFL great Archie Thompson and Melbourne Victory midfielder Amy Jackson.
There will also be basketball and football drills for customers to participate in and photo opportunities with the 2022 AFL Premiership Cup.
Additionally, the first 85 active Rebel members to shop at the store on after the opening ceremony will receive an $85 Rebel voucher to spend in the first 85 mins.
Meanwhile on Saturday, customers will receive $20 off for every $100 they spend.
Highpoint regional GM Rachel Duggan said the new Rebel store helps to elevate the centre's offering.
