Ralph Lauren will return as the official outfitter of the Australian Open in 2024 for its fourth consecutive year.
The contract includes outfitting up to 4,000 people, including on-court officials and ball persons, as well as on-site staff.
The deal also includes a Ralph Lauren x Australian Open collection, featuring a new series of commemorative towels for AO24, sold exclusively via Ralph Lauren’s dedicated website for Australia.
Following this launch, the full AO24 collection of fashion and accessories will launch in Ralph Lauren boutiques across Australia and online in November 2023. The range includes polo shirts, jackets, headwear, and accessories, incorporating materials such as recycled polyester and cotton.
The ball persons' and umpires’ uniforms are made from recycled polyester.
Ralph Lauren’s Australian Open partnership joins other global tennis championships including Wimbledon and the US Open in the company’s Grand Slam tournament portfolio.
As well as the collection, Ralph Lauren will bring back its Create-Your-Own (CYO) customisation program available onside in Melbourne at AO24. The fashion house has designed a series of new motifs incorporating Polo icons that customers can purchase and customize with their name or initials, by embroidering and printing on a selection of classic Ralph Lauren styles and designs.
