Premier Investments has added Andrea Weiss, a resident in the United States of America, to the Premier board as a non-executive director, effective December 4, 2023.
Prior to this new appointment, Weiss has a thirty-year career in senior leadership roles, across North America and Europe. She is the founder of The O Alliance LLC and CEO and founder of Retail Consulting Inc in the USA.
She has held various senior executive positions with notable retailers, including teen retailer dELiA*s, Guess Inc, L Brands, Ann Taylor, The Walt Disney Company and Grupo Cortefiel in Spain.
She has also been a senior advisor to technology firms such as SAP, Zebra Technologies, and TYCO Retail Solutions.
Currently, Weiss is a member of several public company boards in the US, including Cracker Barrel Restaurant, O’Reilly Auto Parts and RPT Realty.
Andrea holds a Masters Degree of Administrative Science from The John Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University.
She also completed postgraduate studies at Harvard Business School and The Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
Premier chairman Solomon Lew welcomed Weiss to the board as the company’s first overseas director.
